Mario Habek

Dr. Mario Habek is a Professor of Neurology at the University of Zagreb, School of Medicine, and a neuroimmunologist at the University Hospital Center Zagreb. He is the Head of the Referral Center for Demyelinating Diseases of the Central Nervous System, where he manages clinical care, research, and education related to multiple sclerosis and similar disorders.
His scientific work is focused primarily on the autonomic nervous system in demyelinating diseases, focusing on mechanisms, diagnostic methods, and clinical implications of autonomic dysfunction in multiple sclerosis. Dr. Habek has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles, contributed to clinical guidelines, and actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
