Ayşe Sağduyu Kocaman

Prof. Ayşe Sağduyu Kocaman is a neurologist with expertise in multiple sclerosis, neuroimmunology, neurocritical care, and headache disorders. She graduated from Hacettepe University Medical School in 1985 and completed her neurology training at Ege University Medical School. She conducted neuroimmunology research at Oregon Health Sciences University in 1990.
She became a Professor of Neurology in 2002 and served as Chair of the Neurology Department at Ege University (2009–2011). Following her retirement, she joined Acıbadem University Medical School, where she later chaired the Neurology Department (2018–2021).
Her clinical and research interests focus on multiple sclerosis, autoimmune neurological diseases, neurocritical care, stroke, and headache.
