Bedriye Karaman

Assoc. Prof. Bedriye Karaman was born in Bursa on February 11, 1984. Following her graduation from Zonguldak Science High School in 2002, she was admitted to Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Medicine. She completed her residency training in Neurology at Ege University Faculty of Medicine between 2009 and 2014.
After fulfilling her compulsory medical service in Demirci, Manisa, she worked for six years as a neurologist in hospitals affiliated with the Turkish Ministry of Health in İzmir. In 2020, she joined the Department of Neurology at Ege University Faculty of Medicine as a faculty member. She was awarded the title of Associate Professor in 2026.
Her principal fields of clinical and academic interest include multiple sclerosis and other demyelinating diseases, as well as cerebrovascular disorders. She is married and has a son named Mert.
