Dr. Ljiljana Radulovic graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade, where she completed her specialization in Neurology in 2009. She earned her PhD in Clinical Medicine from the University of Novi Sad, Serbia, with the thesis “Influence of Genetic and Environmental Factors on the Occurrence of Multiple Sclerosis in Montenegro”, conducted as part of the national scientific research project “Prospective Study of the Influence of Genetic and Environmental Factors on the Occurrence of Multiple Sclerosis in Montenegro.”
From 2001 to 2002, Dr. Radulovic worked as a general practitioner at the Podgorica Health Center. In 2002, she joined the Department of Neurology at the Clinical Center of Montenegro, where she has held several leading clinical and academic positions. Between 2017 and 2020, she served as Head of the Intensive Neurological Care Unit. In 2020, she was appointed Director of the Clinical Center of Montenegro, a position she held until 2024.
Dr. Radulovic completed advanced professional training at prominent regional and European institutions, including the Institute of Neurology, the Faculty of Medicine in Bologna, and the University Hospital in Vienna. She was the project manager for the implementation of thrombolytic therapy at the Clinical Center of Montenegro, introducing this treatment in Montenegro for the first time in 2011.
Her primary research interests are focused on neuroimmunology and multiple sclerosis. She has authored and co-authored numerous SCI- and SCI Expanded-indexed publications, as well as papers published in international peer-reviewed journals. She has participated in five international scientific projects supported by European Union funds and has led and implemented multiple projects in the field of neurology.
Dr. Radulovic has organized numerous professional and scientific meetings and has been an invited lecturer at regional conferences and continuing medical education (CME) programs in Montenegro and abroad. She is a member of the Montenegrin Neurological Association and the European Academy of Neurology.
