Ahmed Serkan Emekli

Ahmed Serkan Emekli, MD, FEBN, is a neurologist specializing in central nervous system (CNS) immunological disorders, neuro-rheumatological conditions, and neuro-ophthalmology. He earned his medical degree from Istanbul University, Cerrahpasa School of Medicine, and completed his neurology residency at Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, with a thesis on neuro-Behçet’s disease, followed by a Neuro-Ophthalmology Fellowship at Michigan State University. Recognized with high distinction in the European Academy of Neurology (EAN) Board Examination, Dr. Emekli has published extensively on autoimmune and neuro-ophthalmological diseases. An active member of several national professional organizations, he currently continues his clinical and academic work at Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, Clinic for CNS Immunological Disorders.
