Professor Enra Mehmedika-Suljić is a neurologist, neurophysiology specialist, and Professor of Neurology at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Sarajevo. With more than 25 years of experience in clinical neurology, academic teaching, and international clinical research, she has made significant contributions to the fields of epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, neurodegenerative diseases, and neurophysiology.
She currently serves neuropsychiatric of the Clinical Neurophysiology Department at the Neurology Clinic of the Sarajevo University Clinical Center (KCUS). Between 2016 and 2024, she held the position of Director of Science, Education and Clinical Research at KCUS and previously served as Head of the Neurology Clinic.
Professor Mehmedika-Suljić has authored and co-authored more than 50 peer-reviewed scientific publications and has participated as principal investigator or subinvestigator in numerous international phase II and III clinical trials in multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, CIDP, and Parkinson’s disease. Her work combines clinical expertise, research leadership, and dedication to evidence-based medicine.
In addition to her scientific and clinical achievements, she is widely recognized for mentoring young physicians and researchers and for her longstanding contribution to the development of neurology and clinical neuroscience in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
