Following my graduation from Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa, Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, I completed my neurology residency training at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine, establishing a robust foundation for my academic and clinical career. As an accomplished Professor of Neurology, I possess extensive experience in clinical practice, medical education, and high-impact scientific research. My clinical and research areas of expertise are deeply focused on acute stroke management, advanced epilepsy care, and complex neurophysiology, including long-term video-EEG.
Throughout my tenure, I have demonstrated dedicated leadership in medical education by designing comprehensive, case-based curricula and professional qualifying examination materials for neurology residents and medical students, while dynamically supervising clinical residency programa.
In addition to my clinical and academic endeavors, I contribute significantly to the medical community through prominent institutional and organizational governance. I have served on the executive board of the Turkish Cerebrovascular Disease Society and still an executive board member of Turkish Neurological Society (Türk Nöroloji Derneği).
