Yeşim Parman

Yesim Parman was born in Istanbul, Turkey. She graduated from the University of Istanbul, Faculty of Medicine, in 1984. Following her study of medicine, she was a resident in the Department of Neurology of the Istanbul faculty between 1986-1988. Prof. Parman subsequently continued her residency in Paris, France, and became a neurologist in 1992 (Université Pierre et Marie Curie-Paris VI). Returning to Istanbul in 1995, she assumed duties again in the Department of Neurology, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine. 
Prof. Parman’s interests in neurology has centred on neuromuscular diseases, especially peripheral neuropathies and nerve pathology.
